Earth’s silhouette a fusion of zesty and emerald green
Dancing turquoise sea water limpid and clean

Swaying palm trees on pictorial sandy beach
Sun drenched chairs, cool surfers and some happy beings

Surrounded by tiny hills, tacked sequins to the scene
Draped in billowy clouds, everything looks dream

Shade of colourful umbrellas provide chill spot for some
Others choose to dive into the blissful waters for relaxation and fun

Foamy sea waves hit my body, water trickles off my knees
Getting soaked, an adrenaline rush, how cleansed I feel

Grabbed a glass of mocktail, so fresh and sweet
Brimming with joy, the place nudges me to be at ease

The view unreels like a movie scene
Sound of crashing water against the jagged rocks gives me peace

Somewhere a guitar riffs, giving this place a festive beat
This frolic, conviviality a sure retreat

Feel like scooping up this slice of paradise with me
Tugged in my heart, a happy memory of my refreshed being

 The new snow of the season is always special                                                   Photo by Boris Pavlikovsky on Pexels Pin-drop silence on a wintry night Enough a sign of snowfall in silence By the morning the snowflakes cover the earth The first snow of the season brings joy and mirth Painting the trees and roofs with nature's white brush Everything looks new, lovely, and fresh Shimmering icicles are an added joy For children, they are nature's toy And the sun comes out with a happy face Showering us with warm rays From my window, I see snow and sun in one frame Covering the earth in their drapes Everyone is bundled up and cheerful, the mood is sweet Sipping my steaming coffee, I enjoy the scene To walk on fresh powder, people come out in droves Some are eager to hit and schuss the slopes Shoveling snow is fun and a chore Snowman and snowfall fights in store A new hope, a happy tiding, and my heart glows White and gold this painting rolls
